Soundwave Digital, the programmatic industry’s latest “deep-learning” frontrunners have added a new VP of Trading Operations. Jon Kim, formerly the Senior Media Strategist at Cognitiv, joins the already highly-acclaimed team of industry veterans at Soundwave. He brings close to a decade of media trading and analytical experience for agencies and brands where he directly managed $500K-2MM$ programmatic budgets for L’Oreal, Garnier, Essie, NYX and many others in the CPG space and across varying industries.

This news follows shortly after the team announced it was doubling down on recent momentum with the rollout of Amplifi™, an A.I. based audience modeling and buying platform developed to increase buying efficiency and targeting through custom algorithms and proprietary bidding engines.
Mr. Kim, a graduate of the University of Denver, is based out of NYC and will oversee the internal team in the city and across the NorthEast. In addition to augmenting their trading unit, Jon will oversee the build-out of tech stacks and manage vendor relationships to ensure Soundwave exceeds clients’ expectations.
